(Click to view... 66KB)Madaleen Pulsifer of Phoenix, Ariz., has just completed a commission by the Air Force Academy in Colorado of a 48-inch “Pegasus.” This is a fantastic piece of work, but then we would not expect anything less from Maddy.
Arizona Woodcarvers are proud and happy that Madaleen has chosen our upcoming award show and sale (November 22 and 23) in Mesa, Ariz., as the only place “Pegasus” will be on display before being delivered to the Air Force Academy where it will be on permanent display in the new Doolittle Hall.
This is a great honor for woodcarving as an art form, for Madaleen as a nationally-recognized artist and woodcarver, and for Arizona Woodcarvers, with whom she is affiliated as a member. All who can make it to Mesa are urged to visit the Rendezvous Center, 201 N. Center St., to view this exceptional woodcarving.
